Talky Walky

Noise is a right,
not a privilege.

Talky Walky is psych-tinged indie pop from London, built in a flat over tape hiss and cheap reverb. Primal Scream's swagger, Soda Stereo's neon shimmer, Leftfield's dub pulse, Daft Punk's chrome gloss, the Buenos Aires underground on the radio in the background.

Eight tracks for 2026. First single I'M A BREAKER — baggy-era groove, a chorus that doesn't ask permission. Second single ACROSS THE AMBER — slower burn, amber hours.

→ stream it, steal it, tape it. just don't ignore it.

Two videos, shot in 9:16 because that's how the world holds a phone now. I'm a Breaker pulses through a Dalston night; Across the Amber drifts through the amber hour. Both directed by Night Walk Collective on 16mm and borrowed DV.

The character
is drawn.
The streets
are real.

A pop-art ghost walking a real street

Born from the collision of Primal Scream, Soda Stereo, Leftfield, Daft Punk, and the Buenos Aires underground. Recorded in a west-London flat, mixed tape-first and digital-second.

The project is one part drawn cartoon, one part flesh-and-blood — a pop-art ghost that walks a real street, a voice that cracks because it isn't trying to stay clean.

We're not looking for the polish. We want the crack. The break. The part where the plaster falls and you can see what the wall was made of.

→ the kids invented the noise.
we're just picking up the tape.
